In March 2019, I woke up and decided, “That’s it - I’m going to be a wedding florist.” Without a second thought, I signed up for courses, armed myself with buckets and vases, and jumped in feet-first.
Cue 2020: weddings cancelled, no financial safety net, and an allotment full of blooms I’d grown for a year of weddings. I could have called it quits - but instead, I grabbed a vintage bike, filled the basket with flowers, and started a flower round, delivering joy around town!
It was a tough year, but it taught me the art of creativity, grit, and flourishing under pressure.
Now? I get to do what I love most: designing wedding flowers that make my couples say, “these are even better than we imagined.”
